Editor's Review :

At first, I couldn't tell if I was playing basketball with a soccer ball or just being trolled by gravity. Soccer Basketball is one of those games that seems simple - maybe even too simple - until you realize it's quietly laughing at your first ten failed attempts. You're kicking, not shooting. You've got to use your foot to send the ball into a basketball hoop, and if that sounds like it shouldn't work... well, yeah. That's kind of the charm. It's weird, it's a little floaty, and it takes a few tries before anything even feels like it's going where you want. But once you stop overthinking it and start feeling the rhythm, things click - and suddenly you're curving perfect kicks into the net like you've been doing this your whole life. Mechanically, it's super straightforward. Aim your foot, adjust the angle and power, and hope you got the physics right. There's no movement - you're basically a fixed-position soccer player taking potshots at a hoop - and that limitation turns into the game's biggest challenge. The levels start out forgiving, but before long you're dealing with backboards, bouncers, walls, and narrow-angle shots that require pixel-perfect placement. Sometimes the ball bounces exactly where you expected. Sometimes it decides to spin off the rim and roll into a void. You never really feel in full control, but that tension is part of what keeps you hitting "next level." It's one of those games where every success feels a little lucky and every failure feels extremely personal. What I really appreciated about Soccer Basketball is how it lets you settle into your own pace. There's no timer, no pressure, just a clean sequence of puzzles that quietly nudge you toward getting better. It doesn't rush you or punish you - it just hands you a ball and a weirdly placed hoop and says, "Figure it out." And weirdly, that's enough. There's no background noise, no story to distract you, no fancy effects - just this simple, slightly janky mechanic that somehow keeps pulling you back in. It's not flashy, but it's honest. If you're into games that are all about angles, trial-and-error, and quiet satisfaction, Soccer Basketball hits that sweet spot between frustrating and fun without ever pretending to be more than it is.
