Grand Theft Auto V Hidden Star

Editor's Review :

Grand Theft Auto V Hidden Star is not what you might expect when you hear the name "GTA." Instead of high-speed chases or chaotic shootouts, this game takes a completely different turn - you're scanning through static scenes from the world of GTA V to find hidden stars. It's a classic hidden object game with a modern, themed twist, using familiar images from the action-packed universe of Los Santos. Honestly, it's a bit surreal seeing Trevor or Michael frozen mid-explosion while you calmly hunt for a tiny star in the corner of the screen. The concept is incredibly simple, but there's something kind of relaxing about it, especially if you're used to the full-scale chaos of the real GTA games. And as weird as it is to say, I kind of enjoyed the contrast. The game plays out over a series of still images - usually screenshots or promotional art from GTA V - and your task is to find a certain number of stars in each image before time runs out. The stars are well-hidden, often blended into the environment, so it does require some focus. A misclick can cost you, which adds just a tiny bit of tension to an otherwise chill experience. There's a timer that keeps you on your toes, and you only get a few hints, so it's not completely mindless. I found myself zooming in mentally, scanning every rooftop, corner, and traffic light. The satisfaction of spotting that last star with just a few seconds left on the clock? Surprisingly real. It's not a deep game by any means, but it scratches a certain itch - kind of like cleaning up digital clutter or solving a visual riddle. I wouldn't recommend GTA V Hidden Star if you're looking for action or anything remotely resembling the original game's mechanics, but as a short casual distraction, it works. Especially for fans of the franchise who just want something light and unexpected. It's also weirdly fun to test your observation skills in such a detailed, familiar world. You start to notice little things in the GTA universe you never paid attention to before - like a graffiti tag in the background or the texture of a wall. It's not going to blow your mind, and you'll probably finish all the levels pretty quickly, but for what it is, it delivers. Just don't expect explosions and car chases. Think of it as a very mellow detour into a chaotic world, one star at a time.
