Zombie Soldier

Editor's Review :

I thought I was just going to kill some time with Zombie Soldier, but five levels in, I was already holding my breath every time I let go of a shot. At first glance, it seems like one of those casual zombie games where you aim and shoot, no big deal. But it doesn't take long to realize this is a physics puzzle in disguise. You've got limited bullets, and the zombies are hidden behind boxes, metal beams, or stacked in awkward corners just out of reach. Suddenly, every level becomes a mini-brain teaser. It's no longer about speed or reaction time - it's about precision, planning, and the occasional lucky bounce that makes you feel way smarter than you probably are. There's something addictive about the simplicity of it all. You line up the angle, tap the screen, and then just watch. Sometimes the bullet hits perfectly and the whole structure collapses like a plan well-executed. Other times, you miss by a hair and sit there wondering how the zombie is still standing, grinning smugly behind a stack of planks. And because you only get so many chances, the pressure sneaks up on you. You start calculating ricochet angles in your head, debating whether to go straight for the target or shoot the environment and let gravity do the rest. It's quiet, low-stakes tension - but somehow it feels deeply satisfying when things finally go your way. You'll restart a level five times, just to prove you can solve it in one perfect shot. And when you finally do, it feels unreasonably good for a game about shooting zombies with cartoon physics. What works so well about Zombie Soldier is that it doesn't pretend to be anything more than it is - but it nails that niche beautifully. It's compact, clean, and surprisingly challenging if you let yourself care. It gives you just enough tools to figure things out, then steps aside and lets you fail until you learn. No cutscenes, no dialogue, no distractions - just you, your limited ammo, and some strategically placed undead. It's the kind of game you open for a quick break, then catch yourself playing level after level because you know the solution is right there if you just shoot a little higher. Whether you're a fan of puzzle shooters or just someone who enjoys tiny moments of triumph, this one delivers those little wins over and over again. And honestly, that's more than enough.
